HOW WE WORK
Our installation process
At Choice Driveways we follow a proven installation process to ensure a high-quality finish every time.
We begin by excavating the area and preparing a stable sub-base to provide a solid foundation for the concrete. We then install all necessary drainage systems in compliance with building regulations and complete any required formwork, including the construction of steps where needed.
Fresh concrete is poured, levelled and smoothed to create a strong base.
We add the colour surface hardener (which is troweled into the concrete) and then use an antique release agent prior to printing
While the concrete is still wet, specialised stamping mats are pressed into the surface to create the chosen pattern.
Once cured, the surface is sealed with a professional grade sealer to protect against stains, weather and wear. Additives are also added to increase slip resistance.
